through the years, we all should have learned one thing when it comes to anything man-made; the 1st version, by definition, is the WORST version. it really boggles my mind when people line up, scratch that, SLEEP OVERNIGHT, in front of stores eagerly waiting to fork over top dollar for something that will be marked down AND improved in the not too distant future.
bless you if you have the cash and patience (oxymoron that is. if you had patience, youd wait for the better version. i guess by patience i mean the sleeping in front of a store type of patience) needed to go through the rat race for an inferior product.
cars, computers, phones, dvd players, TVs, you name it. theyre being improved as we speak. is it really worth it to say ”look at me. im the first on the block to have total 3d tv !!!! i was also the first to have a plasma tv !!!!! ok, the first plama tv didnt work out all that well but im sure this cant get any better !!!!”
i give this 3 stars not even owning it, but for the initiative. 3d tv is long over due and this is a company that i kinda trust, sony will set the bar. after their 3g version hits the market and when dvds catch up, THEN i will leisurely walk into an uncrowded best buy and pick up the 3d tv with tons of free bonuses for a third less. not great for the overall economy of the country but it will make my bank account smile.

Just got tv upgrade from samsung because my b8000 was having the clouding/flashlight effect plus corner lighting not any more with the c8000. I immediately upgraded firmware and now a great television awaits dont be fooled by other reviews this is great if you can find a deal I only paid $1800 great price for 3D tv!!!!!

I have been watching this TV for about two weeks and I have been disappointed at all. I was concern about the TV being an LED screen but it’s amazing. Is the best investment I have ever done. Love it

I bought this TV a week back everything works great except that I cannot access Internet via Internet@TV their support team says they are working on a software update, but they don’t have any specific date when this update will be available.
So if you can live without Internet@Tv then go ahead buy it, otherwise I recommend that you wait for a while.

Since I bought this 55in. Samsung LED 3D ready last April 2010, I always stay and spent my time on my living room watching HD channels esp. NBA playoffs, Netflix streaming movies, DVD and Blu ray movies…it’s so crystal clear…My families and friends like it too…I highly recommend this high tech TV to everyone…Bravo Zulu to Samsung Technology and to Amazon.com……
